Slow Cooker Green Bean Casserole
Sometimes your oven is overflowing with turkey and you don’t have room to cook your traditional green bean casserole. We improvised the last time we made this holiday favorite and we liked it even better done in the slow cooker. You can use either cut beans or French cut, depending on your preference. | Total Time: 6 – 8 hours Serves 6
2 (14.5 ounce) cans cut green beans ½ medium red bell pepper 1 (10.75 ounce) can Cream of Mushroom Soup 1/4 cup milk 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper ¾ teaspoon salt 1 (6 ounce) can French Fried Onions | Drain beans Chop, fine Place in slow cooker and mix well. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours. Add ½ can of French fried onions to the mixture and blend. Use the remaining portion to garnish the top of the casserole when you remove it from the slow cooker and transfer it to a decorative serving dish
